::walks up to the podium, looks at the faces:: Hello, my name is Trey.
All: Hi, Trey!
Ah, hello. I'm Trey. And I have a problem. Like the rest of you, I'm addicted to Prince of Tennis. A long time ago, I watched friends get sucked into it, and I refused to get hooked in. It was a sports anime. To me, that did not equal fun. I watched the first episode and was bored to tears.
For two years, I fumed about, never wanting to give in, never wanting to give the little bit of my sanity away to boys playing tennis. But finally, at long last, a friend told me that I either would watch or die. And she burned a bunch of songs for me.
...................The songs... Were the first few sets of rival players. Fudoumine, St. Rudolph, Yamabuki, and even Hyoutei. I... really like music, and the songs were so addicting. I wanted to find out who these people were. Plus... Dan Taiichi... So cute. Could not resist him. So I downloaded the Yamabuki arc.
I was hooked. After watching Yamabuki, I went back to Rudolph, then started watching the Rokakku eps on up. No, I have not seen every single episode, and I would not call myself the biggest fan. But I am still consumed by this madness. I never really understood the 'crack' of fandoms until I was brought into Tenipuri. I found that people did the strangest things with these characters... And LIKED it. And I started liking it too.
BOYS. SO MANY BOYS. EVERYWHERE!!!1 AHHHHHHHHHHH HA HA HA HA HAHAAA!
Oh, excuse me.
Now, I want to play tennis. And even today, I was watching tennis and saying stuff like 'Dyuusu!' and 'Fohtii saatii' and 'rabu fifutiin' and 'Outo!' in the announcer's Engrish. ._. ::sobs uncontrollably::
My recent PoT addiction is Kevin Smith. And the American team. Even though Kevin is 12, I want to have his children! ::cry:: I'd do anything to have Kev all to myself. Baby sacrifices, massive bomb threatening, taunt starving poor children in Africa...
::begins wailing and saying 'MY MIND MY MIND' over and over again and must be dragged off the stage::
